Pothole Repair:

Potholes are unsightly, frustrating, and also a huge liability issue. They contribute to slip and fall hazards, allow water to collect inside which will rapidly deteriorate the surrounding pavement and can even cause damage to vehicles. When you notice a pothole, it’s time for repairs!

Depending on certain factors, the pothole may need to be cut out and refilled. Other times, it can simply be filled up with hot asphalt and compacted.

DPS will provide you with a FREE no obligation quote for both options!!

Asphalt Patching / Waterproofing:

A common repair that homeowners are sometimes faced with is leaks in their foundation. When this happens, the area surrounding the leak needs to be dug-up in order to do the repair. Once the repair is completed, the area then needs to be backfilled and often patched up again with asphalt.

DPS specializes in these types of patches. We will use a very fine commercial grade asphalt blend that best matches your surrounding asphalt. Once we have compacted the patch, we will then sealcoat over the whole surface to make the patched area almost non visible and protected from further water penetration.

Garage Ramps

Oftentimes, once a driveway has settled, you will notice that the asphalt near the cement slab in the garage has sunken down a few inches. Not only is this unsightly, but it can also be a tripping hazard, and if low enough, can eventually cause damage to vehicles going in and out of the garage.

In many cases, this can be easily fixed without having to replace the whole driveway. Hot asphalt can be laid near the lip of the cement and graded into a smooth transition into the garage.

A simple picture of the area is all it takes for us to give you a quote right over the phone!

Hot Rubber Crack Repair

By sealing cracks early on, you are effectively extending the lifespan of the pavement by preventing additional water erosion that seeps into the asphalt. Crack sealing can also reduce the chance for trip hazards and other liability issues happening. Lastly, crack sealing helps property managers and owners buy time between the more costly repairs that are needed.

Here at DPS, our crack sealing process is identical to the one used by most local municipal, provincial, and government repair agencies.

We use a hot-applied, rubberized crack sealing compound that is pumped directly into the cracks using a hot rubberized crack filling machine which is used to spread the material over the surface in a process known as “over banding”. This process has been tested and proven time and time again. Its performance is reliable and outstanding even in the most demanding of conditions.

Utility cut repair:

When a city, township, or utility company repairs an underground pipe or installs a new sewer line, they cut the pavement surface in order to dig a trench to repair utility pipes under a road or parking lot. This of course damages your pavement and wreaks havoc on paving budgets, making it essential to have a cost-effective and permanent pavement repair solution that extends pavement life for as long as possible.

DPS can deploy crews out 12 months of the year regardless of the weather. We can work nights and weekends and even offer 24hr emergency services for when things go bad. Call us today for a FREE no obligation quote!
